How do I book an appointment with you?
You can keep updated on whether my books are open by going to the bookings page or by checking my Instagram bio. Books will be done through the booking form on this website.
What style do you do?
I like doing anime/manga/webtoon tattoos, color work, ornaments, etc. there is a more detailed list of my prioritized and “will not do” tattoos on my books page :)
How long do handpokes take?
In general, they will take longer than a machine tattoo. Although speed differs between artists, many things come into play that could affect the length of a session. For example, placement- the stretchier the skin, the longer the tattoo will take.
Do handpokes hurt?
Yes. Simply put, most tattoos hurt. Personally I think stick and pokes hurt less than machine tattoos but I also know people who think the opposite. Many of my clients do say it is more relaxing than machine tattoos :)
What are your rates?
For tattoos that I can finish in one day will be charged by piece. *Regardless of size or how long a piece takes, my minimum is 350*
For bigger pieces / pieces that will take 2 or more sessions to finish I will charge per session.
What payment methods do you accept?
For now, I will only be accepting cash.
Will your anime/manga tattoos look exactly like the scene/panel I send you?
Most likely not. For multiple reasons; I like stylizing the colors and shading in a way that will differ from the original scenes. Sometimes, if part of a characters head is cut off, I will draw in the missing part. For most manga/webtoon panels, I will not include the background, as it would not be reasonable for me to do those details (and I like the look of panels with no backgrounds :) ). At times, there will be details that are too small or too close together for me to handpoke in general, so I will revise those details accordingly.
How should I prepare for my appointment?
Please make sure you eat before your appointment. Bring water and snacks (especially for longer appointments). Wear comfortable clothes and make sure the area being tattooed is covered with loosely fitting clothes. Bring something to entertain yourself!
Should I tip?
Tips would be greatly appreciated! The general percentage for tips is anywhere between 10%-25%. A lot of our earnings go towards shop fees and supplies so tipping helps artists a lot. I also enjoy little knick knacks and client made gifts that I can display at my station <3
What if I’m late or I have to cancel my appointment?
Please please please communicate with me! Contact me at least 3 days in advance if you need to reschedule to do so without losing your deposit. If you contact me with less than 3 days to your appointment date, you will need to set down another deposit fee.
If you are going to be late, again please communicate. I will charge an extra fee if you are 30 minutes late with no prior warning.
Will you copy another artists work?
No. please do not send me pictures of someone else’s tattoo.
Is there tracking for my order through your shop?
There will be no tracking for your order as I will be putting them directly into a mailbox with stamps!
Clients that have booked an appointment with me can choose the option to “pick up at your appointment”.
